Job Details Location: Coconut Creek, FL 33066 Position: PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Position Type: Part-Time Education Level: Doctorate Degree Job Shift: Day Job Category: Health Care Broward County Locations: Deerfield Beach, Coconut Creek, Tamarac, Plantation What We Offer Flexible Schedule – No weekends or holidays 401k Match Annual CEU allotment and possible reimbursement for certifications Institutional Access to JOSPT AI‑Assisted EMR system to lessen documentation burden Responsibilities Evaluate and assess patients’ physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans Provide hands‑on physical therapy to patients using a variety of techniques, including joint mobilization Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home‑care strategies Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Perform day‑to‑day management of the clinic Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Stay up‑to‑date with advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice Participate in marketing programs that educate patients on specific problems Participate in key metric setting and follow‑up with goals set with colleagues Skills Physiology knowledge Medical terminology Anatomy knowledge Trigger point therapy expertise Experience working with pediatric patients Strong patient care abilities Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Schedule Day shift, Monday to Friday Work location: In person License/Certification Physical Therapy License (Required) Physical Demand Capacity Manual dexterity, general strength, and endurance Lifting routine loads of 5–35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead Carrying routine loads of 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet Pushing routine loads of 5–150 pounds on casters, runners or pulleys Sustaining a grip of 40–50 pounds for 1–2 minutes Guarding a lift load of 120–140 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr The Physical Therapy Institute
