Details Night shift position in a Level III/IV NICU within a Trauma I hospital 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week totaling 36 hours weekly Provides care to neonatal patients including intake and output monitoring Uses Epic EMR for documentation and barcode scanning for medication administration Requires 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Holiday coverage required per rotation Requirements Active IL RN license in good standing BLS and NRP certifications (American Heart Association) Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience ASN required; BSN preferred Prior experience in a Level III or IV NICU within a Trauma I hospital required Epic EMR charting experience required Additional Information Performs initial patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs Provides breastfeeding support and baby-friendly care to NICU families Participates in multidisciplinary rounds to report on patient status Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Contingent workers may not exceed 1 year of continuous assignment and must complete a 6-month break in service before returning American Traveler Job ID P-731111.
