About the Position

Job Title: Level 3 RN ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Single State or Compact nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years nursing experience - AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS - NIHSS stroke certification - Pediatric experience Description: The position requires working in a Level 3 ICU setting. The acuity level of patients includes adults and pediatrics who are acutely ill with a variety of medical problems and diseases. The unit has a total of 25 beds. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:5-6. An automated medication dispensing system is utilized. The electronic medical records system used is Cerner. All nurses must adhere to wearing masks at all times in the ICU. Scrub color for nurses is navy blue.
