Job Title: Field Engineer 3 - IT
Support Location: Groton/New London, CT
Duration: 12 months (possible extension/temp-to-perm)
Schedule: Split Shift - 20 hours weekdays 20 hours weekends

Role Overview: We are seeking a Field Engineer to provide IT support at a government site in Groton/New London, CT. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and deployment of computer hardware/software, with responsibilities across desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and networks. Candidates must be flexible with split shifts and occasional site-to-site travel.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and servers.
Perform hardware/software troubleshooting and repairs.
Support network products and provide operational maintenance.
Handle disk replacements, re-imaging, and software deployments.
Update and manage tickets to meet client SLAs.
Maintain professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of IT support experience.
Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
Experience with ticket management platforms.
Knowledge of mobile device configuration (iOS/Android).
Hardware repair and deployment experience.
Must be at least 18 years old and registered as required.
Certifications (A , Security , Apple, Dell) preferred.
