Maintenance TechnicianJoin our team and receive a $1500 sign on bonus!Second shift: Monday- Thursday 5pm- 3:30am $21.00 + $2.25 second shift premiumWeekend shift: Friday- Sunday 5am-6:30pm $21.00 + $4.00 weekend shift premiumUnder the appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, the maintenance technician performs preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to insure the safe operation of mobile equipment. Implements, coordinates and assists in the application of procedures pertaining to general maintenance. Duties may require manual, clerical and data entry skills.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.Prepares and maintains all logs, charts and other required documents for each piece of equipment.Operates all material handling equipment required.Repairs equipment as required.Perform building and equipment auditsCoordinate and track preventative maintenanceInitiate and schedule repairsPerform repairs on equipmentMonitor and maintain battery maintenanceMonitor and maintain the lighting, HVAC, doors, dock plates, etc.Will be the primary liaison with the equipment warranty providerDevelop and implement continuous improvementsNegotiate bidsMaintain and track suppliesAny other duties assigned by the Site ManagerThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed; they are only the major dutiesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skillsCommercial Driver's License preferredForklift certified or able to obtain certificationMust be able to lift 55 lbsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
