Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Blacksburg, Virginia. This position provides critical care to patients in an intensive care setting with a typical patient ratio of 2:1. The role requires night shifts and participation in a clinical environment involving advanced critical care procedures and monitoring.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience.
- Additional Information: The intensive care unit includes 10 beds and typically maintains a 2:1 patient ratio. Clinical responsibilities may include central line placement, intubation, and bronchoscopy procedures.
