They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals. Lead clinic staff by modeling behaviors, actions, and attitudes; provide guidance to X‑ray technologists, nurses, and front‑office staff. Perform duties outlined in the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses. Engage with clinical leadership and elevate concerns to management as appropriate. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as needed daily. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on safety, cost, and patient‑centric care. Ensure activities are consistent with department expectations and compliant with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, and all health information management requirements. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Manage a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training sessions. Complete standard NP protocols and all mandatory compliance training. Communicate regularly within the team in all necessary manners to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and complete required training. Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities for new staff. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; Full‑time employees work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Ancillary Providers are on call periodically throughout the year. Experience levels: Level 1 (new grad up to 1 year), Level 2 (over 1 year and less than 5 years), Level 3 (over 5 years and less than 10 years), Level 4 (over 10 years). Qualifications Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner License. Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant setting such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, or family medical practice. Current active license and DEA registration; DEA required for all providers, with limited waiver period as specified by state law. DOT certification for full‑time and part‑time providers obtained and maintained within 120 days of employment. Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
