This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and upholding safety standards. The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and contributing to the company's logistical and operational goals.Key Responsibilities:Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy and condition of products.Store items in designated locations, maintaining organization and accessibility.Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring products are handled safely and securely.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Assist with the preparation and processing of shipping documents and labels.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse activities.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Accuracy of order picking and packing.Efficiency and timeliness of order fulfillment.Inventory accuracy and stock level maintenance.Compliance with safety protocols and procedures.Condition and organization of the warehouse.Number of shipping and receiving errors.Efficiency in loading and unloading tasks.Key Challenges:Maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Ensuring the safe handling and storage of products.Coordinating with team members to fulfill orders accurately and on time.Managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Adapting to changes in workload and warehouse operations.Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely.Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.Key Competencies:Attention to Detail: High accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping products.Efficiency: Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.Safety Awareness: Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and operational needs.Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying and resolving issues related to warehouse operations.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
