This ABA intern position is for individuals enrolled in a graduate program to become a BCBA. Success On The Spectrum is a national Autism Therapy franchise with a dedication to quality. We offer Applied Behavior Analysis and Social Skills Classes in our nautical centers, in-home, and in-school. Success On The Spectrum provides free supervision and hands-on training to individuals enrolled in a Board Certified Behavior Analyst master's program. We are looking for an organized, energetic BCBA Intern who is seeking full-time employment while fulfilling their required intern hours. Success On The Spectrum Castle Rock is an ABA therapy center servicing the autism community in Castle Rock, CO. Provide early intervention therapy in a center based setting. Our team is compassionate, creative, and continues to offer the most excellent therapy service in our area. You must have a passion for helping kids learn and have fun! Work In Center Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Create Individualized, research-based client programs under the direction of the BCBA. Analyze client progress and update programs as needed. Weekly parent training meetings and progress updates with guidance from the BCBA. Supervise a team of RBTs. Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service trainings. Insurance correspondence (pre-auth requests). Directly Implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA. Record client responses into the Central Reach program. Convert appointments into billing. Assist with patient assessments and reassessments for assigned caseload (VBMAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, Socially Savvy, ABAS-3, Vineland) under the supervision of the BCBA. Assists in updates to patient treatment plans including but not limited to formal reports, intervention plans and teaching instructions under the direct supervision of the BCBA. Assist in training and supervision of behavior technicians which includes but is not limited to formal evaluations, feedback and disciplinary actions. Attends bi-weekly ABA Staff Meeting and assist BCBA in the delivery of patient updates. Gathers data to provide feedback on staff trial counts, IOA and other reports to measure fidelity of treatment. Conducts direct therapy, models and supports behavior technicians to achieve optimal expectations of direct treatment. Maintains and organizes patient materials necessary for therapy treatment. Monitors parent training goals to ensure parent involvement/generalization of skills- print and log parent participation/involvement. Probe targets and future programs of clients. Provide feedback and modeling to promote a positive work environment for all staff. Other projects and duties as assigned. Write detailed SOAP notes. Attend Quarterly in-service trainings and team bonding activities. General End-of-day Cleaning duties. Qualifications / Requirements Must be enrolled in a Masters program leading toward certification in behavior analysis. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. No criminal background. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active. Benefits Salary $22-$24 (depending on experience).
