Director Supply Chain Policy What you will be doing: The Director of Supply Chain Policy will lead the development of the organization’s policy strategy on supply chain resiliency and other healthcare priorities. Responsibilities include reviewing and summarizing regulatory and legislative updates, advising senior management and members, writing comment letters, supporting member engagement and education, building internal and external coalitions, and managing stakeholder outreach. Responsibilities Track regulatory policies and legislation; advise internal teams and members on implications via written summaries and verbal presentations. Educate members and staff on impacts of policies on care delivery. Develop and submit comments, briefing materials and presentations within required deadlines. Lead policy development and strategic visioning: research, draft policy positions, coordinate analysis, support advocacy efforts, and represent the organization on trade association committees. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in healthcare advocacy, legislative and regulatory analysis, and the political process. Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Political Science, Legislative Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MPP, MPH, MPA, JD, or a healthcare professional degree such as nurse or pharmacist is preferred). Proven track record of successfully advocating for supply‑chain policy reform. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with excellent attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to present tactfully and persuasively to all levels of management and stakeholders. Experience drafting and reviewing regulatory comment materials and navigating the federal legislative and regulatory process. Additional Requirements Maintains a stationary position for prolonged periods; adapts quickly to changing priorities and meets deadlines. Operates computer programs and software, communicates effectively in person and electronically. Willingness to travel 1–20% within the U.S. Physical ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; predominantly sedentary duties. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $113,000 – $188,000 (adjusted by market factors, internal equity, education, skills, and location).
