Job Opportunity: Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon
Our organization is collaborating with a healthcare facility in Florida to find a Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage beginning in 2025. We are looking for a provider to work between 4 to 7 days each month on a recurring schedule. Below are the details of the position:
Key Responsibilities- Perform all aspects of thoracic surgery, including management of major vascular injuries.
- Provide holiday coverage as needed.
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage at a Level 1 facility.
- Conduct consultations, inpatient rounding, and surgical procedures.
- Must hold a valid Florida medical license.
- Board certification in Thoracic Surgery is mandatory.
- Comfortable with a wide range of thoracic surgical procedures.
- Commitment of 4-7 days per month for several months.
- Availability for holiday coverage and on-call duties.
