Direct message the job poster from Force Marketing About the Role The Client Success Manager (CSM) is the lead role within each book of business on Force Marketing’s Client Success Team. This role is highly focused on sales growth, retention, and relationship management. The CSM owns their book of business, ensuring clients achieve success with Force Marketing’s solutions while driving new growth opportunities through upsells, referrals, and net new group partnerships. Success in this role requires experience in digital advertising and the automotive industry, as well as the ability to blend consultative client relationship management with strong sales acumen. Key Responsibilities Own a book of business and achieve quarterly sales and retention objectives Drive upsell opportunities through proposals, presentations, and follow-up on declined recommendations Manage churn by proactively retaining products and accounts Generate net new opportunities via group growth, referrals, and OEM/Shift contacts Travel (25%) for high-value accounts, strategic opportunities, and relationship growth Client Relationships & Retention Maintain consistent monthly contact with clients to build and strengthen relationships Create action plans for at-risk accounts and execute retention strategies Lead quarterly planning and strategy sessions (QBRs) with clients Proactively maintain communication with inactive or disengaged clients Plan and conduct face-to-face meetings where additional support is needed Pod & Internal Team Collaboration Act as the lead within the assigned pod, overseeing pod call efficacy Actively listen to Performance Calls and provide feedback as needed Partner with Performance Managers to identify and address client obstacles Review client communication emails for best practice alignment Strategy & Performance Guidance Provide deep-dive support on escalated issues (across channels and CRM systems) Deliver strategic guidance and performance insights to clients and internal teams Administrative Ownership Manage Salesforce opportunities, including upsell pipeline, net new growth, and cancellation processes Fully own opportunity management for budget reallocations and client changes Ensure accurate entry of Salesforce onboarding details for new accounts Lead onboarding calls, including gathering client briefs and setting expectations Oversee launch status to ensure timely activation of new solutions What Success Looks Like Achieves quarterly revenue and retention objectives within assigned book of business Maintains strong client relationships through consistent communication and strategic planning Retains products and accounts by proactively addressing challenges and providing value Drives measurable growth via upsells, referrals, and group opportunities Leads pod collaboration effectively, ensuring team alignment and client success What You Bring 4+ years of experience in client-facing, sales, or account management roles Proven experience in digital advertising and the automotive industry (required) Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a track record of retention and growth Strategic thinker with ability to provide performance insights and guidance Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM tools Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Willingness to travel up to 25% for client and growth opportunities Salary + Commission Monthly Profit Sharing + Bonus Opportunities Professional Development & Growth Opportunities Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Marketing Industries Advertising Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Force Marketing by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid paternity leave Paid maternity leave Disability insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
