Details Work in a 28-bed Emergency Department on the 1st floor of the North Tower Unit staffed with a Charge RN, 10 RNs, 2-3 Techs, and a Unit Secretary per shift Patient ratio of 4:1 Uses Meditech EMR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month No on-call responsibilities No floating required Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Minimum 1 year of recent acute ER experience required Trauma experience preferred Experience with procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKG No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information Provide emergency care to a wide range of acute and trauma patients Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs Royal Blue scrub color required Active and personable candidates are a strong fit for the team Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the position First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-745120.
