Position: Operations Clerk
Location: Reno, NV (100% Onsite)
Pay: $18.25 - $19.25 per hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
Assignment Length: 3-6 Months

Kelly Services is partnering with a leading transportation and logistics organization that supports commercial, military, and government shipping operations throughout the Pacific region. We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Clerk to support daily logistics and transportation activities while delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with administrative, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Enter and maintain shipment, order, and customer information in company systems
Track shipments and communicate with carriers, trucking vendors, rail providers, and other transportation partners
Answer customer calls and emails, providing timely and professional support
Research and resolve shipment exceptions and service issues
Review records for accuracy and update databases as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all transactions
Scan, organize, and manage documents within electronic filing systems
Escalate concerns appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction
Support daily schedules, reports, logs, and administrative functions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational processes
Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of clerical, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused with outstanding follow-through
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Skills
Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or freight operations
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
