Designer Full Time Professional – Portland, OR, US Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually Reports to: Creative Director Department: Creative Classification: Exempt Who We Are We are Thesis. Thesis is a creative agency that drives business success through marketing across technology, strategy and operations. The Job The Designer brings a strong foundational skill set and an eagerness to learn. They contribute to projects by supporting visual execution across a range of deliverables, refining their craft through hands‑on experience and feedback. As a Person, You Are Strong in design fundamentals. Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and brand identity design across digital and print media. Technically skilled. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and familiarity with Figma or related prototyping software is beneficial. Collaborative by nature. Comfortable partnering closely with senior creatives, copywriters, and production teams to produce cohesive design solutions. Organized. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Willing to learn. Proactive attitude toward receiving feedback, refining skills, and learning new design methods or tools. Detail‑oriented. Committed to quality and detail, ensuring all work meets high standards and aligns with brand guidelines. In This Role, You Will Execute design assets for campaigns, presentations, and digital platforms. Participate in internal reviews and actively seek feedback to hone craft. Stay attuned to visual trends and design standards, applying them thoughtfully. As For Experience, You Need 1–3 years of experience in a design role, agency, or in‑house. Portfolio that shows potential and precision in layout, typography, and branding. Growth‑oriented, detail‑focused, and open to creative direction. Work Environment and Physical Demands The following capabilities are required in order to perform the essential functions of this position. Thesis operates using a flexible hybrid model, work occurs remotely two days/week and in the office three days/week.
