Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Process the receipt, identification, handling, storage, packing, and shipping of materials. Assist other departments with their shipping requirements. Receive incoming packages from freight carriers. Verify content of packages agrees with the packing slip. Contact suppliers and resolve packing slip problems. Process purchase order receiving documentation. Enter information in SAP. Segregate and identify material. Assign lot numbers. Schedule receiving inspection priorities. Move materials to storage location. Prepare containers to hold material. Identify containers with part numbers. Clean containers. Replenish inventory for manufacturing. Packing materials into shipping containers. Verify product shipping matches packing slip. Confirmation of shipments to customers. Preparation of shipping waybills. Job Responsibilities (continued) Assist other departments with boxing, preparation of waybills and shipments. Ensure compliance to quality system requirements for areas of responsibility. Maintain records of applicable documentation. Complete daily cycle counting in the warehouse timely. Assist with plant facilities and maintenance as needed. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements QUALITY REQUIREMENTS Maintain awareness of the relevance and importance of activities performed and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives. Work within the QMS always, ensure accurate completion of records and highlight issues to immediate supervisor any issues affecting quality. Responsible to ensure facility, processes and documentationremain in a state of audit readiness at all times.
