Retail Territory Manager

As a Retail Territory Manager, you are the heartbeat of Mondelēz’s in-store success, leading the execution of world‑class Direct Store Delivery to bring beloved brands to life on shelves across your territory. Responsibilities Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets by unlocking growth across assigned accounts using retail selling methodologies and executing customer plans. Manage and inspire a team of full‑time and part‑time merchandisers, from hiring and coaching to performance development. Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in‑store. Provide expert, on‑site sales consultation to customers, securing incremental opportunities and executing headquarters programs. Tailor data‑driven sales strategies to store demographics and customer needs to fuel territory expansion. Build strong partnerships with store personnel to identify opportunities and deliver top‑tier service. Strategically deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales volume. Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management in collaboration with full‑time order writers. Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships and drive results. Operate within Mondelēz International’s safety and operational guidelines. Requirements At least 18 years of age with a valid state driver’s license. High school diploma or GED required; college degree highly preferred. Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays. 3‑5 years of selling experience with a strong sales background and understanding of business processes and systems. Ability to perform physical activities (frequent lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs. regularly and occasionally over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling). Successful completion of required drug test, MVR check, and general background check. Mondelez International offers a company vehicle, which includes a gas card and vehicle maintenance program. Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $56,200 to $77,275, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. This role is eligible for a highly competitive bonus program with potential overachievement based on performance and company results. Many benefits are subsidised or fully paid by the company. No relocation support is available.
