1. Obtain chief complaint, history, vital signs, Ht and Wt.
2. Prepare patient as per clinic protocol.
3. Assure that patient chart has all relevant information for the visit
4. Place patient in the room.
5. Assist Provider as needed during patient visit
6. Carry out Provider order at the end of the visit

a. Give immunization, medication under Provider supervision.

b. Carry out office procedure like Hearing, vision, EKG, Ear lavage, ear piercing, Tympanogram.

c. Clean minor wounds

d. Make Referrals

e. Get Release of records request signed as needed

f. Patient education/ Instructions per clinic policy

7. Update provider on orders as carried out

8. Escort patient to the front desk for next appointment.

9. Prepare and clean room for next patient.

a. Clean room at the end of the day

b. Clean spills etc in the clinic as needed

c. Maintain inside patient restroom as per clinic policy

10. Call and confirm appointment for the next day in conjunction with Front desk.

11. Call patients as instructed by the provider

12. Maintain Supplies

a. Keep supplies organized

b. Inform Manager for need of ordering supplies in time

13. Keep Vaccine, medication, Laboratory, medicine sample logs.

14. Conduct Chart audits per clinic policy.

15. Abide by Clinic Policy and procedures.

16. Participate in performance improvement (in-services, in-house education activity, performance appraisal)
