Selector

The Combo Selector position is responsible for utilizing a pallet jack to select, stack and wrap product on pallets in the distribution center. The Combo Selector uses a double pallet jack and travels throughout the DC selecting and palletizing a store's order. The selector moves from aisle to aisle and slot to slot until the order is complete and then brings the product to a staging door location to be loaded. The selector must follow prescribed rules in the process of completing their work. The orders can be selected in produce, floral, grocery, deli, table & vine and any department slotted with product. Some are refrigerated and some not.

Requirements:

• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. • Ability to represent A Culture of Caring and The Pursuit of Excellence™ through the support of Big Y's Mission & Vision. • Willingness to learn and perform other tasks as needed. • Must project a clean and professional appearance. • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct. • Ability to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards. • Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the department. • Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. • Ability to learn and utilize computer applications. • Must be 18 years of age. • Must consent to and pass a drug screen at time of hire or transfer.

Pay Details $20.00 - 29.20 Pay Rate Type Hourly
