**Exciting Opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** RRT in a dynamic acute hospital setting - **Assignment Length:** 13 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) - **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics - **Unit Details:** - 28 bed adult ICU - 9 bed PICU - 66 bed Level 3 NICU - Floor therapy - Level II Trauma center for adults and pediatrics - Open heart surgeries on adults - Wide variety of RT therapies, including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, CPT, and nitric oxide - **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years in Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU - Strong preference for candidates with diverse experience in both adult and pediatric care - **Certifications:** - Required: BLS, CRT - Preferred: ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT - **Skills Required:** - Proficiency in medication delivery systems: Aerosol setups, MDI, Nebulizer - Ventilator management: BiPAP, CPAP, high frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator - Airway management: Extubation, suctioning, tracheostomy care - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - **Work Environment:** - Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals - Opportunity to float to like units as needed - Engage in high-risk delivery assistance and trauma patient care - **Orientation:** - 36 hours of comprehensive orientation with flexibility in staffing needs - **Additional Information:** - Weekend shifts required: every other weekend - Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks - Float required may include work to meet facility needs - Local candidates (within 50 miles) not accepted **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
