The Role From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most-making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable. Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule- A- Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alternating Saturdays)
- B - Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alternating Saturdays)
- Operate a forklift
- Retrieved boxed resins and deliver to extrusion line
- Scan all materials to the appropriate extrusion line
- Weigh and return boxed resin to inventory locations
- Keep resin bins full
- Communicate all resin/packaging needs and maintain stock inventory in plant
- Keep inventory areas clean and organized
- Unload and put away all raw material deliveries
- Take trash and cardboard waste to appropriate compactor
- Stretch-wrap and label all Finished Goods
- Assist operators in packaging and banding pallets
- Labels scrap and keep scrap area clean and organized
- Inspect finished good packaging
- Load finished goods into transfer trailer.
- Breakdown and organize empty Gaylord containers
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Comply with all AIB and BRC Standards and Standard Operation Procedures
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- 2-5 years of plastic extrusion experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Wages ranging from $17.50 per hour , dependent on experience.
- Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
