Job Overview A law firm seeks a Construction Associate with 3‑5 years of experience to join their team in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction law, though experience in general litigation or real estate will also be considered. This hybrid position offers an opportunity to work on both public and private projects alongside a team of skilled professionals. Duties Represent clients including owners, designers, and contractors in construction‑related matters. Collaborate with land‑use, environmental, real estate, and public agency attorneys. Engage in legal research and writing to support case strategies. Participate in client meetings and project team discussions. Requirements 3‑5 years of relevant legal experience. California Bar admission required. Strong research, writing, and communication skills. High level of analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Education Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in the California Bar. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
