GSCM Application Support Services Engineer

Location: Remote

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled GSCM Application Support Services Engineer to provide remote support for the deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of Core Nokia Software products. This role requires a strong technical background in Linux, databases, scripting, and cloud infrastructure, along with excellent communication and documentation skills. You will act as a key liaison between the customer and development teams, troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to technical documentation, and occasionally support activities during off-hours maintenance windows (MWs).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide application support and troubleshooting for GSCM (Global Supply Chain Management) systems.
Serve as a liaison between the customer and the development team to ensure clear communication and issue resolution.
Support the software development lifecycle, including defect analysis, testing fixes, and validating new features.
Manage and support the deployment and integration of Core Nokia Software products.
Assist architecture and engineering teams with test automation, configuration, and deployment.
Support maintenance window (MW) activities when required (typically between 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM).
Develop, update, and validate various technical documents such as MOPs, LLDs, design documents, test plans, upgrade documents, etc.
Perform vulnerability scans and manage remediations using Tenable tools.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of all technical documentation.
Collaborate with networking, infrastructure, and security teams for successful project execution.

Required Skills & Experience:

Linux Administration and Shell Scripting expertise
Strong experience with MariaDB administration and solid SQL knowledge
Proficient in Java (ability to debug Java exceptions)
Familiarity with Network Design and configurations
Experience with OpenStack environments
Knowledge of Tenable scan tools and vulnerability management
Proven technical writing experience – creation and validation of custom MOPs, LLDs, test plans, etc.
