Phlebotomist- Per Diem
$17.75 - $24 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a per diem phlebotomist for its Wayne, New Jersey patient service center. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and delivering customer service across variable weekday and Saturday hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing and payments
- Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience or accredited certification
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to additional sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Flexible scheduling and willingness to work overtime
Compensation: $17.75 - $24.00 per hour
