Talent Acquisition Recruiter

This role is responsible for providing operational support across all areas of hiring. You will take ownership of, manage, and facilitate all Workday and other tech-enabled tasks and processes associated with hiring and new-hire onboarding. Additionally, you will assist with position management within designated accounts, groups, or regions, post job requisitions for janitorial positions, and schedule applicants for in-person application, hiring, and onboarding processes at a centralized location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Service Delivery Managers, payroll, benefits, and HR Services.
• Manage Workforce Org Structure within Workday.
• Utilize advanced-level functionality on Workday, including assigning Primary and Secondary Recruiter Rights on job requisitions and posting them internally and externally.
• Manage group job-board accounts as needed.
• Review all job applications thoroughly and consistently.
• Contact qualified applicants and manage the applicant flow by scheduling immediate appointments or placing extra applicants on a waiting list.
• Create and manage a job applicant pipeline.
• Assist applicants with the Workday job requisition application process.
• Move applicants through Workday hiring processes and transfer to JDE and Kronos.
• Assist applicants through Workday new-hire onboarding processes.
• Provide employees with first-day information and Hiring Manager contact details.
• Communicate effectively with all job applicants, requiring bilingual Spanish ability.
• Demonstrate a friendly, welcoming, engaging, and helpful demeanor with job applicants.
• Travel across the geographic region to support recruitment events, onboarding of new accounts, or other business-related needs, not exceeding 25% travel.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday and MS Office Products.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prior experience with Kronos and MS Teams is a plus.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to maintain a friendly demeanor.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, requiring office attendance 2 days per week. Work hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM Central Timezone. The role involves strict contract responsibilities for warehouse, janitorial, and general labor hiring.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
