Generative AI ArchitectGenesis10 is currently seeking a Generative AI Architect for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.We are looking for a Generative AI Architect to design and scale a next-generation Document AI platform for the financial industry. You will lead the architecture of solutions for document classification, data extraction, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), ensuring performance, compliance, and auditability in a highly regulated environment. This role requires on-site presence three days a week.Responsibilities:Architect enterprise GenAI solutions for classification, extraction, and Q&A over large document setsBuild and optimize RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector DBs, and rerankersPartner with infrastructure teams to deploy on GPU clusters (vLLM, Triton)Drive model risk management: explainability, audit trails, evaluation pipelinesCreate architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and executive presentationsCollaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to deliver safe, scalable AIRequirements:8+ years in software/solution architecture, with 3+ years in AI/ML or GenAIHands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, and vector search (OpenAI, Hugging Face, Llama, Elastic Search)Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, LangChain)Experience with GPU optimization, cloud-native deployment, and MLOpsStrong communication skills with the ability to present to executivesDesired Skills:Master's degree in Computer Science/Data Science, or a related technical fieldExperience collaborating with a diverse set of partners and stakeholders from various lines of businessHighly motivated, proactive, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownershipCritical thinker with the ability to analyze problems, identify issues, and provide solutionsAbility to navigate the enterprise and data assets across multiple functionsHighly organized with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple efforts in a fast-paced environmentPay rate: $58.31 - $66.31 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
