Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Provides specialized speech and language therapy services to patients, aiming to improve communication, speech, and swallowing functions. Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to establish treatment needs.
• Develop individualized therapy plans aligning with patients' goals and clinical assessments.
• Implement therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to support communication and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, including identification and badge protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Proven experience diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse patient needs.
• CPR certification preferred.
