This MRI Technologist opportunity is a day shift role based in Pell City, Alabama, a welcoming and growing community in central Alabama. Local schools, churches, and businesses contribute to a safe and supportive environment where many professionals choose to live and work long term.In this day shift MRI position, you will be part of a collaborative imaging team providing high-quality diagnostic services to a diverse patient population. You can expect a consistent daytime schedule that supports work-life balance and allows you to enjoy the many amenities that Pell City and the surrounding area have to offer. The facility features modern imaging equipment and a team-oriented culture focused on patient-centered care, quality imaging, and safety.Typical responsibilities include performing MRI examinations according to established protocols, positioning patients and ensuring their comfort and safety, screening patients for contraindications, and working closely with radiologists to obtain optimal diagnostic images. You will manage a varied caseload that may include neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, vascular, and other specialized MRI studies. You will also be responsible for accurate documentation, use of the electronic medical record and PACS, and adherence to MRI safety standards and infection prevention practices.A typical day on the MRI day shift may include coordinating with scheduling and nursing staff to manage the daily exam schedule, preparing rooms and equipment, administering or assisting with contrast injections as allowed by policy, and providing clear explanations to patients and families to help reduce anxiety and ensure a positive imaging experience. Patient volumes and ratios are structured to support both timely service and high-quality imaging, with access to support staff and leadership when needed.This role is well suited for an MRI Technologist who values a stable day shift schedule, a friendly and supportive team environment, and the opportunity to live and work in a community that offers both outdoor recreation and easy access to a larger metropolitan area.

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Experience: 2 years Certifications: CERT-ARRT- MRI

BLS-AHA On Call: every 4th weekend 2 yr experience , travel experience and Cerner EMR required -
