Job Description:


- Embrace the exciting world of CT procedures under the guidance of experienced Radiologists and CT Supervisors.
- Perform sophisticated CT scans in line with department protocols at a technical level.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of technical procedures, including:
- Interventional cases
- CT Angiography
- Advanced 3D reconstruction
- Utilize your ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation safely, adhering to the ALARA principle for optimal diagnosis.
- Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast with confidence.
- Ensure that equipment is well-maintained and supplies are stocked, while keeping workspace clean and organized.
- Minimal holidays and backup call required, with a focus on team collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


- Support and promote our mission and values.
- Acquire scans per protocols established by radiologists and departments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining exams and providing instructions to ensure cooperation.
- Assist radiologists during interventional procedures.
- Coordinate daily workloads, balancing inpatients, emergency department patients, and outpatient schedules.
- Review IV Contrast Questionnaire with patients receiving IV contrast.
- Complete documentation in Epic EMR accurately.
- Review exams in PACS for completeness before submission to the radiologist.
- Uphold patient safety at all times.
- Flexibility to assist with 24/7 department coverage.
- Arrive on time and prepared for all assigned shifts, including on-call shifts.
- Complete mandatory learning, competencies, and CEUs as required.
- Adhere to dress code policy and maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Engage in cleaning, stocking supplies, and laundry to keep a professional workspace.
- Other duties as aligned with your role.

Job Requirements:


- Current ARRT certification required; ARRT CT Registry eligibility preferred.
- NH Imaging License required.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous CT scan experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates proficiency in listed responsibilities may be accepted.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:


- Physical and mental abilities necessary to perform tasks related to this position.
- Frequent lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds; occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Manage some stress due to high responsibility for quality care.
