Nutrition Instructor - Pediatrics

Job Description Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nutrition education programs at Swedish Medical Group. Assesses patient self‑care needs and applies the nutrition care process while teaching patients and families. Formulates, implements, and revises educational plans and coordinates patient care with the health‑care team. Participates in the development of educational materials. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Sciences or Dietetics. Upon hire: Washington Dietitian Certification, Washington Nutritionist Certification, or National CDR Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration). 4 years of nutrition experience, preferably at least one year in an ambulatory care setting or community health. 2 years of experience with teaching and public speaking. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Nutrition Sciences or Dietetics. 2 years of department‑specific experience (e.g., pediatrics, gastroenterology).
