LPN- Opioid Clinic

Horizon Health is seeking a LPN for our clinic in Highpoint, NC. The OTP LPN delegates, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team members and in accordance with the nursing process and the OTP standards of care and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Dispensing Methadone and other medication, per physician orders and per clinic policy
• Accurately recording all patient information in the patient record
• Completing brief assessment of patient's mental and physical well-being, monitoring for signs/symptoms associated with licit and illicit drug use
• Participating in UDS surveillance, per policy
• Coordinating medication reviews and staffing with agency physicians
• Completing all required controlled substance inventories to ensure accurate medication counts
• Conducting patient education programs according to needs identified, including health and wellness education
• Participating in treatment team meetings, providing feedback to the interdisciplinary team

Schedule: Complete week training, and then pick up/fill in as needed

Qualifications:

• Current NC LPN license
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in an addiction care setting (Inpatient, Detox, Partial Hospitalization, OTP) preferred
