Responsibilities We are seeking a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our team of dedicated neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatricians to provide excellent care to the patients of Austin, Texas and its surrounding areas. Our team cares for infants at our state‑of‑the‑art Level IV NICU at Dell Children’s Medical Center, a leading provider of pediatric care in Central Texas. We also provide specialized care for infants requiring Level II and Level III NICU services at our multiple Ascension Seton Hospitals. Clinical responsibilities include prenatal and newborn consultations, attendance of high‑risk deliveries, and comprehensive management of neonates in the NICU and newborn nurseries throughout our multiple hospital units. Level I nursery and Level II, Level III and Level IV NICUs Medical services include HFOV, nitric oxide, and total body cooling NICU supported by strong MFM program and pediatric sub‑specialties Neonatologists remain in‑house at the Level III and IV units Cohesive and collegial group with very low turnover Numerous opportunities for NNP development: education, mentoring, quality improvement, research, policy development, leadership Experienced providers and new graduates are welcome to apply Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas featured in the 2023 U.S. News and World Report (USNWR) rankings of the top 50 "Best Children’s Hospitals" Practice coverage spans multiple sites, but your specific sites would be determined at the time of your hiring.
