Senior Director, Statistical Programming

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Senior Director of Statistical Programming to lead departmental strategy, oversee clinical data analysis and reporting operations, and manage a team of in-house and contract statistical programmers across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement strategic vision and direction for statistical programming department
• Oversee statistical programming execution for data analysis and regulatory submissions including NDAs
• Lead hiring, training, and supervision of in-house and contract statistical programming staff
• Manage vendor relationships including selection, quality monitoring, and cost negotiation
• Develop and maintain departmental standard operating procedures and ensure compliance training

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field with 15+ years biopharmaceutical/CRO experience
• Master's degree in relevant field with 13+ years similar experience, or PhD with 10+ years experience
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of statistical programmers in biopharmaceutical settings
• Expert knowledge of clinical and regulatory aspects of pharmaceutical development
• Strong strategic thinking, vendor management, and budget oversight capabilities
• Proficiency in statistical programming systems landscape and emerging tools evaluation
