As a trusted strategic partner to every team across Zip, you will own all things around credit strategy for existing customers, helping drive increased customer engagement while minimizing losses As a Director of Customer Management Risk Strategy you will be responsible for leading a team that delivers strategies to manage exposure and engagement across Zip’s customer portfolio. You will partner closely with product managers and engineering teams to develop new capabilities and strategies, and perform holistic monitoring of strategies and performance to identify strategic opportunities. Interesting problems you’ll get to solve Own credit line increases for existing customers to drive incremental transaction volume Own credit line decrease strategy to mitigate future losses Drive conversion of customers from our checkout channel to use the Zip app Manage and develop analysts to drive strategic changes Partner with Collections and Customer Experience team to monitor performance and cost Own strategies to drive activation from lower activity customers What you’ll bring to the team 15+ years of experience in financial services developing and deploying credit strategies Experience analyzing data and using database query language (e.g. SQL) analysis and programming and developer tools such as Python, R, Databricks, Snowflake in a financial services setting Quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, business, or related disciplines Possesses strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; and ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams Possesses analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. However, actual base salary will depend on varying circumstances and individualized factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
