What You’ll Do

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual tools including video, phone, chat, and email
• Prepare complete and accurate individual tax returns
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
• Generate business growth through client retention and additional product and service offerings
• Provide clients with IRS support and guidance when needed
• Stay current on tax law updates and continuing education requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or H&R Block Income Tax Course (Both are offered online)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to meet all IRS and applicable state continuing education requirements

Bonus Qualifications

• Sales and marketing experience
• Experience preparing individual tax returns
• Experience preparing complex returns including partnerships and trusts
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
