Whether assisting clients in person or virtually, you’ll be part of a knowledgeable team dedicated to delivering outstanding service and helping clients navigate their tax needs with confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual tools including video, phone, chat, and email
- Prepare complete and accurate individual tax returns
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
- Generate business growth through client retention and additional product and service offerings
- Provide clients with IRS support and guidance when needed
- Stay current on tax law updates and continuing education requirements

Qualifications
Required
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or H&R Block Income Tax Course (Both are offered online)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to meet all IRS and applicable state continuing education requirements
Bonus Qualifications
- Sales and marketing experience
- Experience preparing individual tax returns
- Experience preparing complex returns including partnerships and trusts
- Experience with tax planning and audit support
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
