Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab Specialist provides direct patient care across the Cardiac Cath lab, Peripheral Vascular Lab, Cath Lab Holding Room, and Electrophysiology Lab as part of a multidisciplinary team. They assess patients' medical histories and conditions to prepare them for cardiac procedures, monitor and prepare specialized equipment, and ensure safety by adhering to universal precautions and using protective gear. Key responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare professionals, educating patients, and supporting procedures to optimize outcomes. The role also involves ongoing professional development , mentoring, and performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications require graduation from Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technology, or Paramedic programs, with 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience.
