Market Risk Capital Markets Analyst

At Regions, the Market Risk Capital Markets Analyst performs risk analyst duties related to the Capital Markets division. Performs the second line of risk measurement and analytics capabilities for Capital Markets division, leveraging Regions' market risk analytics platform to enhance risk management and business execution capabilities across the division.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conducts routine or non-complex identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring and reporting tasks
• Develops and reports independent analyses that provide greater insight into risk exposures and mitigation efforts
• Remains well informed of regulatory and industry practices
• Resolves a range of straightforward problems and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or a related field

Preferences

• Master's Degree
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Management (FRM)

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum: $72,443.33 USD

Median: $102,679.50 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
