Jamba Juice – Shift Manager Location: El Cerrito, CA 94530 Hourly Rate: $17.00 / hour – Part Time Job Description A Shift Manager is responsible for the overall shift operations, customer experience, sales performance and execution of brand excellence in a store. In the absence of the General Manager, the shift manager effectively is the store leader. Shift managers typically supervise a shift with a staff of 1 to 12 team members by carrying out management responsibilities consistent with Jamba Juice policies, procedures and legal requirements. Essential Functions Maintain shift operations excellence. Ensure store appearance and cleanliness meet Jamba’s standards. Demonstrate exceptional shift leadership behaviors. Communicate shift issues, concerns and needs to the store General Manager. Respond to directives accurately and timely. Recognize and reward outstanding shift team performance. Educate and engage the community and customers on all of Jamba’s products and services. Other duties as assigned. Customer Service Demonstrate an excellent level of customer service. Motivate and mentor team members to deliver customer service excellence. Accountable for the customer engagement experience on the shift. Provide customers with product suggestions and information. Maintain exceptional customer service metric scores. Operations Open and close the store as required; perform all safety and security tasks. Coach, counsel and direct Team Members; lead the team in the execution of Jamba standards through Jamba On Stage. Lead and manage shifts, deploying Team Members to meet business demands and staffing needs. Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately to ensure effective shift operations. Follow all food safety, cash handling and operations procedures and policies. Coordinate and participate in off‑site program customer visits and deliveries. Human Resources Train and onboard new Team Members on both front‑ and back‑of‑house procedures. Provide performance feedback to the store team members. Participate in interviewing and hiring new team members. Business Management Ensure proper financial accountability during each shift and hand off shift to next manager or close store properly. Perform all cash handling requirements, conduct inventories and process orders as required. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week and variable shifts (openings, midday shifts, closings). Ability to manage others. High School graduate or equivalent; college enrollment or degree preferred. Computer skills including Microsoft software and register usage. Must be able to lift 30–40 lbs regularly throughout shifts. Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout the assigned shift. Ability to be mobile in walk‑in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40°F to -10°F. #J-18808-Ljbffr
