Litigation Attorney

Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify a mid-level Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its Litigation Business Unit in Houston or Dallas, TX . Full-time position with ability to work remotely a few days per week. Candidates must hold an active Texas Bar license .

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:

• Prior representation of clients in oil and gas matters, including oil and gas royalty disputes, quiet title and trespass actions, and regulatory disputes.

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environment

• Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience

• Experience working with e-discovery software

• Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills

• Strong academic credentials

• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $175,000 – $200,000 annually (DOE).
