As a Medical Assistant you will:/pulliSupport patient care delivery by preparing patients and assisting clinicians in the exam rooms/liliAccurately documents and records patient examination, treatment, and test results into EMR in accordance with department policy./liliMaintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations./liliMaintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential./liliFollows CDC isolation guidelines, infection control practices, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand washing according to policy and enforces safety regulations/li/ulpQualifications include:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED required./lili1-2 years experience in a clinical environment preferred/liliCurrent Certified Medical Assistant/CMA required/liliActive American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required/liliMedical Assistant training: sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, medical supplies equipment/liliComputer knowledge and typing skills/liliStrong customer service skills/liliAbility to multi-task and maintain professionalism in stressful situations/liliFamiliarity with medical office procedures and practice management software/liliFamiliarity with medical terminology, CPT ICD coding, and insurance requirements/liliAbility to process requests efficiently and promptly/liliAbility to abide by HIPAA, OSHA, and Adventist HealthCare policies and procedures/li/ulpWork Schedule:/ppEmployment Type: Full-time/ppHours per Week: 40 Hours/ppTypical Daily Schedule: Monday- Friday.
