Senior Buyer – Manufacturing (On-Site)
Location: Torrance, CA
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000
Hours: M–F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Summary
Seeking a Senior Buyer to manage purchasing, supplier relationships, and materials planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, on-site role supporting production and engineering teams.

Top 3 Must-Haves

5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAGE or similar)
Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, and inventory management experience

Responsibilities

Manage RFQs, sourcing, and purchase orders (POs)
Negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements
Support demand planning and material requirements (MRP)
Monitor inventory, maintain safety stock, prevent shortages
Balance supply/demand to meet production schedules
Track shipments and expedite deliveries
Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues
Build and maintain supplier relationships

Requirements

Bachelor’s + 5 yrs experience OR Associate’s + 10 yrs experience
Manufacturing/high-tech environment experience preferred
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Must work onsite daily Monday-Friday (not remote or hybrid)
