Position Overview 3LP Engineering is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Woodstock, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on a wide variety of residential and light commercial projects while taking ownership of the design process from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will have structural design experience, a strong understanding of residential wood framing, and the ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver practical, code‑compliant engineering solutions. Responsibilities Design structural systems for residential and light commercial projects. Prepare structural calculations, framing plans, foundation designs, and construction documents. Develop and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD. Review plans for code compliance and engineering standards. Perform occasional local site visits to verify existing conditions and support project execution. Collaborate with architects, builders, contractors, and clients throughout the design process. Assist with engineering solutions for renovations, additions, repairs, and new construction. Maintain accurate project documentation while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Compensation & Benefits $90,000-$100,000, depending on experience. Annual performance reviews with potential 3-5% salary increases. Annual performance bonus. 3% IRA match. Company-provided computer and tools for site visits. Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM). Minimal weekend work. Local site visits only.
