Floor Manager - CA

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant General Manager to take the lead at a restaurant with significant opportunity for improvement. This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a strong operator who enjoys walking into a challenging situation, identifying what is not working, building accountability, and creating a clear path toward a healthier and more successful restaurant. The right person will have the confidence to make difficult decisions, the leadership skills to bring a team together, and the operational discipline to turn plans into measurable results. Position Requirements The Opportunity You will have a meaningful role in rebuilding the restaurant from the ground up, including: Improving day-to-day operations and service standards Rebuilding and developing the management and hourly team Establishing a culture of accountability, professionalism, and hospitality Improving guest satisfaction and retention Increasing sales through stronger service, local marketing, and community engagement Controlling labor, food, and operating costs Reducing waste, unnecessary expenses, and operational inefficiencies Strengthening inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and cash-control procedures Ensuring consistent food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards Identifying the restaurant's biggest problems and creating practical solutions Tracking key performance indicators and holding the team accountable for results Working closely with ownership to develop and execute a realistic turnaround plan What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has: 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably as a General Manager or senior manager A demonstrated ability to lead during challenging circumstances Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, food cost, and P&L performance Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills The ability to recruit, train, coach, and retain a team Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities A hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead from the floor The confidence to hold people accountable while maintaining a positive culture A genuine passion for hospitality and taking care of guests The ability to work independently and make sound business decisions This Role Is For You If...
