Job Overview This is a per diem opportunity for a Nurse Extern—Cardiac Tele at Wellington Regional Medical Center, an acute care hospital located in Wellington, Florida. The Nurse Extern is a student enrolled in a professional nursing education program who will acquire experiential learning opportunities to practice skills under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Job Requirements High school graduate with the ability to read, write, and a working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong communication skills to relate to staff and patients. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification. Enrollment in a professional nursing education program for one year. Letter of recommendation from a faculty member of the school in attendance.
