Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1.5 years minimum License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS; CCRN preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year of CVICU experience after completing orientation Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the CVICU department. The role involves caring for adult geriatric patients. Common diagnoses include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid procedures. The nurse will manage patient ratios of 2:1 with occasional 1:1 care. Equipment used in the unit includes Impella, IABP, and CRRT. The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills. The required education is an Associate Nursing Degree. Professional scrub colors are necessary for attire.
