Senior Financial Data Analyst – Healthcare Must reside in NY, NJ or CT. Full‑time role within VillageCare, a community‑based, not‑for‑profit organization serving people with chronic care needs. Work‑from‑home flexibility available. Based in New York, NY. Salary range: $87,647.11 – $98,603.00 per year. Responsibilities Develop, document, and maintain reports and analytics that support leadership decision‑making. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of routine and ad‑hoc reports, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Create dashboards using SQL, Tableau, and RedShift; automate reports with IT. Support monthly close process, conduct claim reserve analysis, and produce member economics reports. Lead medical claims reinsurance reporting and support preparation of provider group financial statements. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role, especially actuarial work focused on claim reserves, triangles, and IBNR estimation. Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, Access, and Python. Strong analytical and logical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal. Capacity to multi‑task and manage competing priorities. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
