About the Position

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive assessment, consultation, intervention, and student support services within a school-based environment.

Job Duties

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
• Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
• Prepare evaluation reports and communicate findings
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families
• Assist with academic and behavioral intervention planning
• Support students’ social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Monitor student progress and make data-informed recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and Michigan special education requirements

Requirements

• Graduate degree in School Psychology from an approved program
• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate or Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate
• For a Preliminary Certificate: completion of an approved graduate school psychology program of at least 45 semester credit hours and a 600-clock-hour supervised practicum
• For a standard School Psychologist Certificate: completion of a specialist-level degree or equivalent of at least 60 semester credit hours and a 1,200-clock-hour internship
• Appropriate Michigan certification through the Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS)
• Strong assessment, communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of IDEA and Michigan special education requirements
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
