Student Account Specialist

Overview Student Account Specialist (Fiscal Technician II) – full‑time position in the Office of Student Accounts. Pay Grade: GEN06. Salary range: $37,200.00 - $48,300.00. Normal work hours Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the university. Responsibilities Assist students, parents, and colleagues with questions regarding billing, receipting, and disbursement functions. Process payments and deposits for all members of the University Community. Assist in customer flow within the office to streamline and reduce wait times. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Qualifications High school diploma and experience in entry‑level accounting or bookkeeping. Bachelor’s degree may substitute for required work experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail or other customer‑intensive industries. Banking experience an advantage. Experience assisting and communicating with customers. Skills & Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to stay focused in a fast‑paced environment.
