Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading distribution center in the industrial and logistics sector, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Jonestown, PA

Pay Range: $19.5

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, material handling machinery, and facility systems within a distribution center environment.
• Support operational uptime and safety by diagnosing issues, repairing equipment, and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Maintain and support automated warehouse systems such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, and automated storage/retrieval systems.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and procedures while performing general building maintenance and repairs.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance or related technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic understanding of automated systems, sensors, motors, and control components.
• Hands-on experience with power tools and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to read, follow, and execute written and verbal instructions.
