Information Technology Manager

About the Role Our client, a fast-paced manufacturing company, is seeking an IT Manager to own day-to-day IT operations across office, warehouse, and production environments. You'll be the primary point of contact for network infrastructure, Microsoft 365/Azure, legacy midrange system connectivity, cybersecurity, end‑user support, and facility technology (surveillance, access control). Reports to CEO/President. Responsibilities Maintain network infrastructure: firewalls, switches, wireless APs, VLANs, VPNs, monitoring Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, MFA, licensing) and support Azure (VMs, storage, networking, backups) Support Windows Server/AD environments (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file shares, backups) Support legacy midrange system connectivity (terminal access, printer sessions, ODBC/DB access) Provide end‑user and plant‑floor IT support; troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues Manage onboarding/offboarding (accounts, permissions, MFA, equipment) Support production-connected devices, HMIs, and coordinate with Operations/Engineering/Maintenance on machine connectivity Maintain surveillance and badge/access control systems Drive cybersecurity initiatives: endpoint protection, patching, firewall rules, phishing prevention, backups Maintain documentation (network diagrams, IP schemes, equipment inventory) and lead IT projects (upgrades, cloud migrations, cabling) Coordinate with outside vendors and ERP/security contractors Requirements Associate/Bachelor's in IT, Network Administration, CS, or equivalent experience 3+ years in network/systems administration or hands‑on IT support, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings Experience with enterprise networking, Microsoft 365, Windows Server/AD Familiarity with Azure (networking, VMs, storage, identity, security) Basic understanding of legacy midrange connectivity and terminal emulation Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (MFA, patching, backups, access controls) Preferred: ERP/SQL Server/midrange database experience, structured cabling/Wi‑Fi planning, DR/backup systems, certifications (Network+, Security+, Azure, M365, CCNA) Hands‑on troubleshooter, comfortable in both office and plant environments Security‑conscious, detail‑oriented, strong documentation habits Works independently, knows when to elevate Responsive, service‑oriented with end users #J-18808-Ljbffr
